Graduates of the CEHD master’s and doctoral programs are prepared to advance their careers in education and human services. Join our Open House to learn more about our graduate programs.
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm: General information and student panel
4:30 pm to 5:30 pm: Breakout sessions by academic program
Light refreshments will be served. Parking for the Open House is available across the street at the Trabant University Center Parking Garage (Lot 17C). The rate at the Trabant garage is $2 per hour.

Turnbull and Cole present as part of the School of Education’s Fall colloquium series, “Improving Equitable Outcomes for Children, Families, and Adults through Research-Practice-Policy Partnerships.”
The School of Education is committed to conducting high-quality research that helps improve the lives of children, families, and adults, including practitioners such as teachers, principals, district leaders, and community organization leaders.
One promising approach is developing integrative partnerships with the agencies and organizations that serve children and families. This series brings together speakers who will share their expertise in developing and working in these partnerships, especially those that improve equity in schools and communities.

Join The Newark Partnership, UD Community Engagement Initiative and Institute for Public Administration at a Newark Futures Workshop!
Our fifth Newark Futures Workshop will focus on the future of public education in Newark! Join us to learn about the emerging opportunities for strengthening K-12 education for all Newark students. We’ll discuss the new Redding Consortium for Educational Equity. We’ll hear from Newark education leaders Keeley Powell, Vice-Chair of the Board of the Christina School District, and Frank Newton, Head of the Newark Charter School. We’ll consider how to strengthen district and charter collaboration and increase community support for all of Newark’s public schools. Participants will discuss the action steps needed for the continuous improvement of K-12 public education serving all Newark students.
