Knowledge Mobilization for Researchers
The Partnership for Public Education has launched a new series of resources – Research to Impact – to support UD’s education research community to have a positive impact on students, families, schools, and communities. These resources focus on knowledge mobilization, a set of strategies that promote inclusive, two-way exchanges of ideas and knowledge among researchers and educators or policymakers that can help research projects be more impactful from the start. The first set of resources is based on research on effective knowledge mobilization strategies and was developed in collaboration with Dr. Samantha Shewchuk, a researcher with UD’s Center for Research Use in Education at the Center for Research on Education and Social Policy (CRESP). These include:

- An Overview of PPE’s Knowledge Mobilization Guide for Researchers (video)
- A Knowledge Mobilization Guide for Researchers (document and downloadable resources)
As summer is an important time for researchers to develop grant proposals for external funding, these resources can help members of the UD community plan for knowledge mobilization as they generate their proposals. PPE also offers one-on-one consultations with researchers who would like support with knowledge mobilization planning or who are seeking to establish research-practice partnerships (see our research practice partnership page for more resources).
