Partner-in-Practice Fellowships!
The Partnership for Public Education is pleased to share an ongoing initiative to foster collaboration with the University and support educators statewide to increase the use of research-informed programs and practices. The Partner-in-Practice Fellowship program offers paid opportunities for educators to:
- Inform the work of UD researchers
- Co-design research-informed resources
- Support the implementation and evaluation of collaboratively designed programs and practices.
Who are these fellowships for?
The Partner-in-Practice Fellowships are for Delaware educators, counselors, coaches, or school/district administrators working in grades K-12 in any content area.
What are the benefits?
The program is an opportunity for professional growth, leadership development, and to build professional networks across the state through collaboration around the design and implementation of research-informed practices. Partner-in-Practice Fellows will be compensated for their time working on projects and will be able to select projects related to their professional interests and expertise.
What are the requirements?
Expectations for fellows are project-specific and will be specified in advance of formalizing their participation. In general, Partners-in-Practice Fellows are expected to have reasonable scheduling flexibility outside of their work hours to contribute to projects related to their fellowship. Fellows may also be contacted about the possibility of participating in future, related projects that may be of interest to them.
Please contact PPE-info@udel.edu for information about how to apply to the Partner-in-Practice Fellowship.
