On Monday May 6, 2019 the Partnership for Public Education (PPE) welcomed 80 faculty, staff, graduate students, and community members to their 3rd Annual Education Partnership Academy—Partnering for Progress: Fostering Engagement and Partnership with Schools. The half-day event included three panels – spotlighting UD faculty engaged in school-based partnership, campus resources to facilitate partnership, and school partners sharing their perspective and experiences in UD partnership. Additionally, the day offered time for participants to connect and workshop their own partnership projects. Attendees left with a resource binder for initiating, strengthening, and sustaining partnerships with schools.
