Dr. Sarah Winchell Lenhoff leads PEER Detroit, part of Wayne State University’s College of Education, which collaboratively addresses essential questions in Detroit’s public schools. Committed to providing accessible knowledge, PEER bridges academia and practical application for impactful improvements in education.
Reverend Larry Simmons founded Every School Day Counts Detroit, which seeks to reduce chronic absenteeism in Detroit public schools from 56% to 15% by 2027.
