The Partnership for Public Education launches the SharED Survey

Now more than ever is the time to highlight the amazing work of the educators, leaders, communities, families, and students of our state. Through difficult times, we have seen incredible creativity and innovation surface in response to the challenges that COVID-19 has created and exacerbated.

The University of Delaware’s Partnership for Public Education (PPE) is collecting stories of ‘what’s working’ in education during the time of COVID-19.  PPE will ultimately compile a database of innovative and creative practices and learning resources specifically designed for use by educators, parents, and caregivers living in Delaware.

In this spirit, we are inviting ALL members of the Delaware community to share their promising, creative, and innovative practices below, whether you are adapting an old practice, creating a new one, or want to showcase something that is working really well.  Any topic relating to the pandemic response and rapid education change is welcome  – from communication exemplars, to creative lessons, to the best webinar you’ve seen, to food delivery, to strategies for supporting families, to systems of collaboration – nothing is too small or big to share.

If you are someone who wants to share your successes and lessons learned, please share here

If you know an educator, school, district, or other community-based organization whose  creative and innovative practices are making a difference, please take a quick moment to nominate them here. You are encouraged to nominate as many individuals as you wish!

We thank you for your efforts to find new ways to support youth and families in your communities during these unprecedented times. Together, we can transform this crisis into an opportunity to strengthen educational opportunities and outcomes for all Delawareans.
