Healthy Communities Delaware and the Partnership for Public Education are seeking 3+ Delaware high school health teachers to help co-create teaching materials to help students understand how our communities influence our health and well-being.
Did you know that 80% of our health is influenced by our communities, and only 20% by the healthcare that we receive? The Vital Conditions are elements of our communities that we all need, all the time, to be healthy and reach our full potential.
Help us to design teaching/learning materials on this topic for high school health classes. Co-designers will participate in monthly meetings July – December 2023 and provide up to 15 hours of outside review and feedback. Materials will be piloted in DE high schools during Spring 2024.
