Biography

Kristin Chisholm is a PhD student in the Educational Statistics and Research Methods program at the University of Delaware, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University. With seven years of experience as a public-school math and science teacher in Texas, Michigan, and Oregon, she brings valuable classroom insights to her academic pursuits. As an AP Physics Teacher at Dr. Kirk Lewis Career and Technical High School, Kristin’s enthusiasm and innovative teaching led to a significant increase in AP Physics enrollment and successful exam preparation. Later, at Churchill High School in Eugene, Oregon, she actively contributed to the campus Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports team and played a key role in developing a professional development program focused on productive struggle in mathematics. With a passion for bridging research and practice in education, Kristin continues to advance her career in the field.
